Machine Repair

nnPosition Summary: nnResponsible for inspection, installation and repair of machines used for production and within the tool room and maintenance machining areas. In addition, build and re-build equipment for various manufacturing needs, including but not limited to, the material handling/conveyor and part removal systems, mill drives and press bases. nn nnEssential Job Functions include, but are not limited to, the following:n nn n* Follow specified maintenance and repair procedures to install, maintain, and repair production machinery and tools. n* Help troubleshoot, isolate and repair manufacturing machinery & equipment including; mills, presses, conveyors etc. n* Use the following equipment safely: nn n* Hand tools n* Hand and Surface grinders n* Wheel Puller n* Torches n* Pipe Threader n* Hydraulic Jacks n* Welders n* Scissor Lift n* Lathe n* Forklift n* Milling Machine n* Drill Presses n* Work in a safe manner, providing constant attention and communication regarding safety concerns to leaders in order to limit unsafe practices throughout the facility. n* Perform preventive maintenance and provide input on updates to preventive maintenance schedules. n* Complete and manage work orders via the Plex system. n* Provide direction and coaching to less experienced team members, as well as mentor apprentices as requested. n* Additional functions, not specifically outlined in this position description, as directed by the supervisor. nnnn Position Skills and Experience Requirements:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty effectively.
