nnPosition Summary: Responsible for developing and managing human resources processes, policies and programs for a large Shape Corporation manufacturing facility. Major areas of responsibility include internal and external candidate selection, employee onboarding, performance management, compensation, employee relations, and employee engagement/retention. Manage Human Resources Generalists.nn nnEssential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following:nnnnn* Develop and maintain human resources processes, policies and procedures and initiate changes as necessary to ensure compliance with law, corporate policies and business strategy.n* Partner with Plant Leadership to define human resource strategy aligned with the business strategy. n* Participate in business strategy planning and workforce planning as required. n* Act as escalation point for employee relations issues, providing guidance or coaching on how to effectively investigate and resolve issues. n* Oversee and drive consistency on employee disciplinary and termination procedures. n* Develop an effective employee engagement and retention strategy and drive implementation of initiatives to improve employee engagement. n* Partner with plant leadership to execute employee development strategies and plans. n* Train and coach managers and employees on topics including performance management, compensation, candidate selection, harassment, and the Shape Code of Conduct.  n* Oversee performance management process and facilitate performance and compensation calibration sessions to differentiate and award high performance.  n* Perform market analysis in order to recommend wage and salary structure, pay policies and changes to current wage and salary programs.  n* Lead workshops with Managers and shop floor team members to support autonomous work team implementation n* Manage human resource generalists and provide guidance to less senior human resources team members. n* Assist HR Director with companywide initiatives, special projects, and change management plans.  n* Identify and train a back-up(s) to manage key tasks when absent. n* Additional functions not specifically outlined in this position description as directed by the leader.nnnnnn Position Skills and Experience Requirements:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty effectively.
