Safety
Our robust safety policy is built on the idea that all injuries and illnesses are preventable. We have reduced OSHA recordable injuries and illnesses by 62% in the last 10 years, while total employment increased by 27%. Our vision is to achieve a workplace that is free of injuries and illnesses. Shape Corp.s safety program is integrated throughout our organization. It is a major contributor to our business excellence, resulting in lower insurance premiums and increased quality through a knowledgeable, consistent workforce. Shapes safety program, built on a strong foundation of management commitment, is composed of four key areas:

Lean Manufacturing
Implementing lean manufacturing at all facilities and reducing waste while increasing efficiency increases our sustainability on many levels. By making operations more efficient, we use our floor space more effectively, resulting in a smaller footprint for our facilities. As we increase our productivity and eliminate waste, we decrease our costs and remain competitive and thriving. Our ergonomic focus reduces injuries and wear on people and stabilizes work expectations.
