Position Summary:
Support Regional Customer Relationship on Nissan Project by working with Shape Engineering and Commercial teams to execute Program Launch Activity, nagawa.

Skills and Experiences

Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Develop key relationships with customers, particularly purchasing, design, and engineering.
  • Represent Shape Corp. as leadership role in Program Management and rely on Regional Program Manager to help facilitate requests from Japan Customers for each of responsible projects.
  • Understand customer development process and business entry points for new business opportunities.
  • Understanding of Shape Core manufacturing processes as well as secondary operations (Roll-forming, Stamping, Injection Molding, etc.) and be able to explain customers in details.
  • Create innovative solutions for our customers through experience and creativity.
  • Present data to customers in a professional, timely manner using good written / verbal presentation skills.
  • Support development projects by working closely with internal resources such as design, program manager and commercial team including Account Financial Manager (AFM).
  • Facilitate Supplier Planning Meetings (SPM). (Scheduling, Meeting Leader, & Meeting Notes/Actions)
  • Lead Early Phase Proto-type Development (Communication, Timing, and Coordination with Customer)
  • Assist corporate needs in new service assessments, marketing research, and literature development.
  • After business award complete all related project/program documentation and communicate to the customer making sure all customer requirements are satisfied.
  • Assist Cost Reduction Activity (VAVE) by managing design change implementation, coordination with Shape Plant, communication with customer about program schedule.
  • Participate in internal/external Cost Reduction Activity team discussions with Engineering, Commercial, and Manufacturing support teams.
  • Additional functions not specifically outlined in this position description as directed by the leader.

Bachelors of Science/Engineering or Business, Engineering background preferred.
