Compiles and analyze cost records. Also determines cost distribution to the different business units.

Provides timely and accurate information for business making decisions.

Habilidades y experiencias

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, finance, business or related field.
  • -4 years of cost anlaysis experience in a manufacturing enviroment, automotive industry preferable
  • 2-4 years of experience on Standard cost process and analysis
  • English skills 50-60% ( listening, reading, writing)
  • Good understanding of ERP ( desirable Plexus)
  • Problem Solving ability
  • General ledger and cost accounting knoweldge
  • Analytical thinking

Duties include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Review Cost Accounting policies and procedures to ensure they meet Shape Corporation goals.
  • Management of  month /year end physical inventory .
  • Prepare and analyze  month /year inventory reports (Work in Process, Finish Goods, Subcontracts,and Raw Material).
  • Review and Analyze Gross margin report
  • Prepare and analyze SCAR.
  • Prepare and analyze the daily/monthly scrap reporting.
  • Analyze MPV and MMV  variances
  • Support project leaders on Cost analysis ( cost per piece)
  • Verify cost-benefit effect on accounting jobs projects
  • To follow the Environmental Management System, Safety and occupational health.
