Associate Involvement
Associate involvement is the key to a safe and productive workplace. Our associates are actively engaged in our safety program through: safety committees, focus groups, participation in safety auditing, problem solving for safety incidents, and our robust employee suggestion program.
Worksite Analysis
At Shape, we are continually monitoring and checking our facilities, equipment, processes, and associates to assure safety and health. This includes: routine safety auditing, hazard monitoring (noise, air quality, etc), and routine associate health screening.
Hazard Prevention and Control
At Shape, we proactively engineer safety into our facilities, equipment, and processes. This includes: safety considerations in program launch (process and equipmentdesign), state of the art machine safeguarding, best-in-class personal protective equipment, and clearly defined administrative safety programs (procedures, instructions, forms) for expected safe working requirements.
Safety and Health Training
Shape offers a wide spectrum of safety and health educational opportunities to assure associate understanding and competency. Safety skills and competencies are clearly defined for every position, and courses are provided for skill and competency attainment (web based training, instructor led courses, and tuition reimbursement for advanced educational opportunities).
