Carbon Footprint Analysis

At Shape, we voluntarily calculate and monitor our carbon footprint analysis, conducted to create a benchmark for future carbon footprint reduction activities. The carbon footprint analysis is a planning and learning tool for key areas of environmental improvement.

Energy Conservation and Efficiency

At Shape we monitor energy usage and costs very closely. Our energy conservation teams work to identify any opportunity to use less energy or use energy more efficiently.

  • BENEFITS: Reduced carbon footprint and energy use, financial savings, better work environment

Green Chemistry

At Shape we are committed to using metalworking and other chemical products that are safe and environmentally benign. Biosolutions, another sister company and key supplier, formulates and creates environmentally neutral cleaners and coolants for our use. All new chemicals are evaluated prior to introduction into our facilities and processes, and only the safest and most environmentally friendly chemicals are selected for use.

Launder and Reuse

Where possible, we launder uniforms, personal protective equipment and shop rags.
